Someone asked me about this earlier, so just for the record:
If you see a "ldhenson" on Etsy, Ebay, or Twitter, they're not me! I don't know that good person (or people?), and I'm fairly certain we don't share a hive mind.
Etsy's especially confusing as I do have a shop, but I'm "LynneDhenson" there.
ETA: Or Facebook for that matter. But that one's clearly a guy :-)
Just added a lovely ribbon-trimmed plush dragon to Here Be Dragons: A Collection (newly-submitted dragons are towards the end). It's such an elegant effect.
So, having been a Monkees fan for a couple of decades, I was saddened when Davy Jones passed away last week. It wasn't until a few days ago that I could bring myself to watch an episode or listen to their music again...but when I did, it made me smile so much it inspired me to make something cheerful and small and bright.
So I did a few pendants referencing their famous shirts with the double row of buttons, in the three most frequent colors they wore :-)
Well, I'm done reading damnyouautocorrect.com. Too bad, because the DYAC part of the site was good for a daily laugh, but the "wrong number" part of the site is getting far too mean-spirited and irresponsible for me to enjoy it in good conscience.
Submissions where someone gets a mis-dialed text but pretends to be the right party were never that funny anyway, but generally tolerable because they'd 'fess up after a reply or two. Now people are starting to keep up the pretense and feed strangers misinformation for hours at a time, just for their own amusement. Worst case I've seen so far was where a guy messed with someone's travel plans for an entire week before admitting to them that he wasn't who they thought they were texting.
The moderators apparently find it funny as well, or just don't care. Either way, I'm done with the whole site.

Wow, I'm so happy my plush dragon pattern made it to Etsy's front page a second time! It was part of this gorgeous treasury.
Again I didn't get to see it on the FP myself, as I logged in just an hour or two after it had gone, but from the number of views/faves I suspected something was up so I went and checked and :-)
